Most flights into CUN can be direct and get you on the beach in no time! From Chicago its around 3.5 hours and the minute you step out of customs, a margarita hut awaits.
Traveler’s Tip: Book a shuttle with the hotel for pick up and drop off. It’s worth the extra charge for ease and stress free. We got our own suburban with drinks and cool towels upon arrival and the same on the return drop off. Top notch!
Step 3: Hyatt Heaven
Having stayed in a Ziva resort in Jamaica a year prior, I knew this to be a good option. I was wrong, it was the BEST option. It’s one of the top hotels in Cancun, hands down and with the best position on the beach. This all-inclusive is a beautiful resort, has quality food, impeccable service and has a dolphin exhibition on-site!
Traveler’s Tip: Check out the Spa offerings when traveling. At Ziva with any service booked in the spa you got to use the spa amenities ALL DAY. This was one of the biggest and best spa facilities I’ve been in. We took advantage of that deal and after our massages we came back later to use the sauna and jacuzzi and massage chairs until they closed.
