One of Hong Kong’s best gem is Lantau Island; home of the Big Buddha. A most breathtaking site not to miss while visiting Hong Kong.

If you have a day or 1/2 a day, take a trip and see this site! It’s located out by the airport so its easy to go to before a flight but an easy cab out from downtown Hong Kong as well.

You need tickets for the cable-car to get to the island and the ride takes about 15 min but the trip is worth your while!
